Our Subjects
Our Maths Programme
Our maths programme helps children of all ability levels to develop maths skills and form a love of numbers. Our students are aged 5 to 16 and each one is assessed at the beginning of their TutorBEE journey to ensure they work at just the right level. The sessions follow the maths national curriculum and are made according to ability, regardless of age or school year, making it the obvious choice for any student wanting to progress or excel in maths.
The programme goes right from the very basics of recognising numbers all the way to complex mathematical theories in small steps, building ability gradually along the way. We believe that every child has the potential to succeed in maths and our experienced tutors support them to achieve this.
Every student will begin at a comfortable level for them. Their individual starting point, along with their expected projection rate, is established at the introduction session.
Our English Programme
Our English programme aims to create a love of reading and writing in every child. Students are aged 5 to 16 years, building skills from reading and writing to advanced level comprehension with the ability to critique complex passages of text. Vocabulary, grammatical precision, memorisation skills, and the ability to plan and write answers are achieved through different genres of text, familiarising students with both fiction and non-fiction.
Our tutors support students to be able to read thoroughly, extract key information from the content and express an opinion on what they have read through discussions and analysis. The TutorBEE Primary English Programme follows the national curriculum. However, the GCSE programme is not tied to any curriculum but complements learning across all subjects at school, providing students with the ability to apply their knowledge in various aspects of schooling and building on their critical and creative skills.
