Our Maths Programme helps children of all ability levels develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love of numbers. Students aged 5 to 16 begin their TutorBEE journey with an initial assessment to ensure they start at exactly the right level.

Sessions follow the National Curriculum and are tailored to each student’s ability, not just their age or school year. This makes the programme ideal for any child who wants to progress, fill learning gaps, or excel beyond classroom expectations.

The programme begins with the fundamentals of number recognition and gradually builds towards more advanced mathematical concepts in clear, manageable steps. Each student has an individual learning plan, with progress tracked carefully throughout their journey.

At GCSE level, we help Foundation students work confidently towards a pass. Lessons cover the full list of required topics, include regular past paper practice, set structured homework, and focus on how to apply knowledge effectively in exams.

Our SATs Programme follows the same supportive structure, combining topic-based learning with practice papers and detailed feedback to strengthen understanding and exam technique.

At TutorBEE, we believe every child has the potential to succeed in maths — our tutors simply help them unlock it.

Our English Programme

Our English programme aims to create a love of reading and writing in every child. Students are aged 5 to 16 years, building skills from reading and writing to advanced level comprehension with the ability to critique complex passages of text. Vocabulary, grammatical precision, memorisation skills, and the ability to plan and write answers are achieved through different genres of text, familiarising students with both fiction and non-fiction.

Our tutors help students develop the ability to read with understanding, identify key information, and express their own viewpoints through discussion and analysis.

The TutorBEE Primary English Programme follows the National Curriculum, ensuring students build strong literacy foundations from an early age.

At GCSE level, our English Language Programme is specifically tailored to each student’s exam board. Tutors adapt lessons to suit the requirements of AQA English Language and other exam boards, helping students develop the skills and confidence needed for their assessments.

The English Literature Programme is not tailored to a particular exam board, as the range of texts and approaches varies too widely between schools. Instead, it focuses on strengthening students’ ability to analyse literature, write effectively, and explore themes across a broad selection of texts.
